Wiring a three wire 2 light block signal to Lionel Fastrack switch

Hi all,

I am thinking about wiring a block light which has two LEDs and three wires. One wire for each light and one for anode connection. The instructions are given assuming you are using a SPDT switch but I was wondering if it's possible to have the lights connected to a Fastrack Switch. I have manual switches now but I was wondering if the Remote Switches might be used in place of a separate SPDT switch so when the switch is thrown the lights change.

Any ideas?

Based on this cjack post, I believe you could use the black and yellow wires with a diode to throw a relay on one of the routes, diverging or straight. You can use the COMMON/NO/NC contacts to power the correct LED. I'm sure someone has done what you want and will chime in.
