Does anyone use a Wonder Cutter in their plastic (or wood) modeling?

Wondering how the plastic remelt issue is handled?  I have one and it works great, but I have found that I cannot make a precision cut because the plastic will remelt and fuse back on itself behind the blade.  Does a wonderful job of cutting as long as it us used for coarse cuts and hand finish later.  I've never used on really thin plastic, only for say 0.040 thick or up.  The thicker the plastic, the worse the remelt problem is.  I've not used for wood yet.

Just wondering what others experience is and how you may (or may not) handle precision cutting.

It has a line charger.  It's portable if you need it to be.  But I don't know what submersing the cutter would do, unless you could just submerse the blade itself.

I have drilled out rivets holding Lionel’s plastic trucks to their plastic frames using a cordless drill in a plastic bag, under a trickle of cold water. This prevents the rivet from heating up and melting the truck bolster and plastic frame. Ask me how I know.🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️
