As I said, it is a type-o. Someone hit a 3 instead of 4. This is not a "Yueltide" magnitude error.

Opinions vary 
. The Yueltide passenger car can at least operate, is readily available, and no one is likely to notice the misspelling while in motion. The absence of the Base 3 is much more a comparable problem for some folks with Lionel locos, as is the absence of TIUs, handheld remotes and WTIUs for those with DCS/PS3/PS2 locos. It isn't the typo, it's the lack of availability that is aggravating people in both cases. Hopefully both companies will have solved that problem by this summer.
From what I recall, the last official update was in December 2023. It said production would start this year.
I do not personally expect it this year but maybe we will learn more at York in a few weeks.

Apparently, they figure sometime in 2024, but they're pretty vague about exactly when.

The long-awaited DCS WiFi TIU will finally enter production in 2024. Like many electronic devices, from televisions, computers, cameras, appliances, and automobiles, the release of the DCS WiFi TIU was severely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Global component shortages and significant disruptions to the engineering and design work pushed the hardware back nearly two years from M.T.H.'s original delivery estimation.
Over the coming months, more details about the new features found in the DCS WTIU and 2024 DCS App will be announced. Subscribers to the MTH E-Newsletters will automatically receive those updates as they are published.
Has Mth ever shown a working prototype? I've seen a picture but never an actual WTIU.
If they plan on delivering it this summer, they better be in production by now!
