I am looking for a Lionel Legacy L&N F7 set (6-34694). Does anyone know of anyone who wants to sell theirs or know of a store where I can pick one up? At this stage, I am also interested in any other Lionel Legacy L&N Engine too.
Much Thanks,
Fred

Fred,
Good luck with the search, I've also been searching for the same set. I'd posted here on the forum back in March and several kind souls tried to help, but no joy. Additionally I called ever hobby shop from Chicago to Mobile, St. Louis to Cincinnati that Lionel listed and several wholesalers that that the various shop owners mentioned. No leads. On the one in a gazillion chance that I run across 2 I will definitely let you know, but to be perfectly honest I don't think I'll even run across one. I keep hoping Lionel will re-issue them which obviously didn't happen in the 2016 V2. Again, good luck with the search and if you'd happen to find two .....

Unless I'm missing something on your Profile pages, neither of you has any contact information listed. How would someone contact you without that?
D&H 65, profile updated to include an e-mail address. Thanks for pointing out that fact. bd
Thank you. I have added my email address....fbsiii@aol.com.
I do not have that set anymore, however I have a pair of powered GP35's in the light gray and yellow pattern...If interested. Both new, just on the shelf...(Larrylevin71@yahoo.com) Thanks
One reason you've looked far and wide is according to the shipping label on my set, Lionel only built 30 sets of the L&N F7s....

I chose to have mine painted and decaled. I actually bought Legacy steam in L&N (0-8-0, Heavy Mikado). But once I decided that I would model steam and diesel transition era, the grey and yellow diesels were out.
I had a Southern S-2 that Brother Love made L&N. And I had Bernie Winkler paint an L&N GP9 yellow and light blue the more correct transition era black and yellow stripe.
Currently I am having Bernie paint an Erie GP7 in NC&StL (rr acquired by L&N in 1957 - if I recall correctly)

I will try to hunt for you as others will.
I already had a new MTH PS1 scale EMD F3 L&N ABBA with 7 nice aluminum passengers cars .
Being a TMCC Legacy remote guy I had the engine converted to TMCC with sound and cruise. Some say I may be nuts ,but I had to have me a L&N lol.
It's a special line to me so I'm sure you know how that goes.

LeapinLarry , you are tempting us
I think Lionel should offer more L&N Trains and related with more of their color schemes....Freight, Cabooses, and Passenger, and steam and Diesel. I live in Tennessee, L&N, CSX, UP, Sante Fe territory.....Wow....
I know this is an old feed but if anyone could give me the information of the guy who repainted the GP9 I would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Turley, I suggest checking out CJB Custom Painting and Designs. She does great work and is currently doing an Amtrak Veterans unit for both maxrailroad and I.
