I got an old wind up from the bay a few years ago, and it sat on my shelf until only recently.

Looking at a few of the FAQ's and guides on here, I attempted to pull the motor apart and clean it up, then seperate the body from the frame.

Upon receiving a mainspring in the face with gears exploding everywhere cartoon coyote style, I began to clean it up.

Things back together, new dinger-spring installed, body down to bare metal and repainted...

Here it is!

She was pretty trashed. Very rusty and worn. I uncovered some re-used lithograph in the motor which I guess was really common for them. And the mainspring... Jeez, that thing is danger compressed. It took me a half hour to find the hub lol

Tried my best, is probably going to go well with the old CV I did some time ago.
