0-36 command switches

I was thinking of adding the fastrack 0-36 command switches to my layout. Could anyone tell me if they're good switches. I read somewhere that some guys were having problems with their engines derailing on the track. I can only go with 0-36 on my inner circle, so I was hoping I wouldn't have too much trouble with these...
