Something involving Mississippi Export Railway Company. Maybe,  a railcar/locomotive repair and maintenance facility. Or maybe some type of storage building.

Probably another boxcar.

Is Menards becoming a sort of modern day Madison Hardware???

They are doing the model rail hobby a plus at any rate!!! 

I wish they do some scale cars. Then I would be interested . 

Well that guy is certainly different than the run of the mill boxcars, order placed. Didn't want to break my 4 week string of visiting the pick-up room at the local Menards.

I enjoy the way they do business. They have a plan and its working.

Since Menards is from Wisconsin, I expect a Green Bay & Western weathered car. Maybe wood-sided Reefer or caboose. I'd be all over that.

That place is a wallet magnet For me. I saw this thread and took a quick peep at their site. 5 minutes and $40 later I am back looking at this thread.

The SOO LINE 7-Post 50' Box Cars have not been produced in O Scale. That is what needs to be made in the coming year.

I hear you and I agree 100%. This will definitely be improved in the future.

 

I would be interested to know how many people in the hobby like to weather their own boxcars and if our weathering process effects their decision to purchase or not. Perosnally, I think it is a nice feature but this is a hobby full of very talented artists.

I tried weathering and it didn't turn out like I had hoped so purchasing a weathered boxcar sounds more up my alley. An offering of centerflow hoppers weathered sounds good.

 

Mark,I like boxcars,honest! Maybe not already weathered ones, but I like them! I own twelve or so of Menards cars and several of the latest flatcars! That being said I'm having Menards building withdrawal symtoms! Waiting for the next release and finding out it's not another great building is like waiting all year for Santa and finding out his reindeer died and he won't be coming after all!  Just sayin!!

Checking Menards website, I see they have four different weathered box cars for sale.

Maybe they are something you could use.
