Thank you for your quick response, will check into this later today.

 

This is a DC application.

 

There is a yard  which runs out to multiple separately controled  mains.

 

I want  a  rotary on each yard track to send out or bring in a train from any direction with out hesitation.

 

Previously, I have done this with dpdt switches and rotarys. This time I only want rotarys.

The El-Cheapos at radio shack will easily carry the current.   They just don't like it when the current is on when you make or break the connection.    They have single pole 12 position and 2 pole 6 position.  

 

I used them for about 20  years on my layout before I went to DCC for power routing to each block.   I never burned one out.    I think they are rated at 5 or 10 amps when closed.
