I have an old Union Pacific yellow and gray with red trim passenger set from Christmas 1950, The finish on the engines and original 3 car set is in good condition. I wanted to add a couple dome streamline cars but am having trouble with color matching. The Yellow seems pretty straight forward as there is a Lionel 2023 UP yellow code so I'm assuming that this is the slight gloss, reddish tint yellow Lionel used which certainly isn't the same as the somewhat muddy Armour Yellow UP actually uses. But I'm totally hung out on the roof gray which also has a bit of sheen to it which also seems to be a deeper tone than UP Harbor Mist. The trim red is another one where I've not been able to find any color code data. Does someone know what or if the color codes are for these colors that lionel used?
