I just scored one of their Union Pacific models; it's very beautiful, and my first by this importer. A couple of the window "glass"pieces were loose and flopping around inside; a quick and easy fix. 
As you can see, the address on the box is Campbell, CA; when did the move to San Ramon take place?

I have the same UP caboose that you have,except mine is the 3 rail version. I got mine from Bill Oberst about 20 years ago.
I wish that Scott would get into the caboose business! I would go for multiple Pennsy cabin cars,a P&WV,a NP and a WMd to start off.
I would go for a couple helium cars too.

Thank you. I looked at the 3rd Rail site (including Scott's "history page") but didn't find anything about the move.
I guess I got lucky with this, as the price was about half (or less) to what's currently listed on eBay...

Did 3rd Rail ever issue a van to accompany its CP/QC D-10's? I'd love to have one/some.
....and their CPR 4-8-4 and 2-10-4 !! Weaver did a very nice Canadian National Morency orange "van", though.
I would be in favor of Scott offering my cabooses and rolling stock.

San Ramon to Campbell.....quite a while back! Dig out your back issues and look at the address on the ads! One of the most important aspects of that change was the loss of Gary Yosele (He did not make the move). A very helpful guy if you had problems!
