Clem, what a layout!

Nice video...all my premier traction wheels swapped out for solids...pulling power is a non issue. My 2 rail pulling 42 cars sometimes would slip so i added a fifth engine..wish my sand spitters were working.

Actually I tend to lose track of that many trains, sharpens the skills!

beautiful! Any lash-up ur, um,... I mean consist issues pop up? What DCS version?

We have a similar set-up. Why do I like yours better?

(mine is just bare plywood and also, maybe the grass is greener thing???)

I didn't use the lashup mode on this, it seems to suck the signal right out of track. I just point them all forward and use the all button, never a problem. 5.0 version.

That is one amazing layout!! Beautiful scenery and those super long straight always are things of dreams. 

Is the helicopter on top of the mountain powered so it's blades rotate? 

We need to see more of your gem!

Thank you Pete !!   I didn't even think of powering the helicopter, good idea and I use to be a mechanic on them. I could even put in the sound.

Really nice... I like the sparse scenery . Not too crowded and very realistic.

Clem, is that your Blissfield layout?  If it is...WOW.  What a difference with all the scenery.  I've watched the video of your layout many times on you tube.  Great job!!  What are the dimensions of just the layout itself,  not the room size?

Ah - so that is the secret... so you possibly could make around a sharper radii.

Clem, no, although I have seen that video also.  I mean the one that is titled "3-rail O scale layout - Blissfield, MI" by Jon B. rail videos.  I have watched this video many many many times trying to count the ceiling tiles to see how big the layout is.  LOL  Talk about doing it the hard way.  But, I always got distracted by  watching the trains running.  I even drew the track plan to see if I could duplicate it in the space I have.  But, I just don't have the room.   Nice design and a very nice layout.

Clem, Great looking layout and really like the videos! It's always nice to see others layouts to get new ideas.

Amazing layout!   If that is one loop of track, I would like to see the track plan.

This started as a simple double track large oval, each section 2x8'. Then I added the peninsula in the middle and the oval was split on one end. One side of the oval stayed on grade went around the peninsula, made a circle and came back to rejoin the oval. The other side climbed higher to crossover the rails of the loop that stayed on grade, then also made a circle on the peninsula and rejoined itself. I'll try and find the track plan photo.

Good day everyone......Well I ran ALL the trains again, so I thought I would try something else. I turned on all the smoke units and promptly blew a breaker on a 180 brick maybe two of them. wish they would have put a power light on those.
