Yesterday, we began the process of removing the red reflective tape from the skirting of Reading T1 no. 2100.

Johan, that it a magnificent weathering job you did on your Fairbanks-Morse Train Master.

You spent a lot of time getting the details just right, to depict a locomotive that is being worked hard and getting very little appreciation in the form of wash jobs.  It is covered with oily grime, but not over-done.  The only clean spot on that locomotive is the American flag, which somebody took the time to wipe off.

I commented once before on how realistically you had weathered the chicken wire on an F3A.  And here you have done it again.  

My hat is off to you, Johan. 

Tom. Thank you very much Sir. I really appreciate your kind words. I remember when you commented JC F7A chicken wire. Lets see what coming next.  It's would be a nice get a couple BAR F3's.🤝

For today: " A GE 44 tonner trundles across the Bollman bridge with a flat car of logs and transfer caboose on the FSJR Mountain division.  It's always fall in and around Patsburg. 

Well its late in the day on the Leonardtown and Savannah (most everyone is "social distancing" so there is not too much traffic in Small Town.  Just about dinner time, the local switch job comes out of between the suburban platforms with some cars for distribution in the morning.  The mainline express disappears into the "mountains" taking the folks from Savannah to Atlanta.

Huh. Woke up this AM to this:

Went to the doggie park and we all enjoyed the walk, staying 6ft apart of course.....the dogs didn't do social distancing though.
