3rd Rail Southern SD40-2

I had some sample models in my possession back in February and the samples were very impressive even if additional corrections were required as a result.  I am hoping everyone finds them to be as stunning as I did.  I have several variations on the way and look forward to photographing them when they arrive.

Photos of most of the models are now posted on the 3rd Rail website.  I got my shipping notice today so I suspect mine should arrive Tuesday or Wednesday.

I ordered one too, that long hood forward,the long porch, high mounted bell and black paint makes it the diesel that looks most like a steam engine.

Tried to order IC Deathstar but it was cancelled. Its the hole in the table of pictures on the webpage linked to in a previous post.

Man, that's a shame. My grandfather worked on the Illinois Central Gulf in the Late 1970s.

For 3 Rail operators, there is a 9 volt battery under the dynamic break blister that should be removed
