geysergazer - SNOW!! on March 25th You need to come to Texas...it was 85 degrees and sunny here today!    Zeke really like the b&w photos, they remind me of so many of the classic especially steam era photos from my RR magazines (which I devoured as a kid).  Sidehack - great picture and what a super job in making realistic trees that look like they are just beginning to leaf out in spring. BillT - love the Santa Fe RDC's...maybe I will repaint my plain Jane B&O ones with that warbonnet scheme GP7#63, sidehack and trumptrain -great pictures and super realistic scenes.

B&O Pacifics were out last night. One with Madisons the other pulling a 5 car consist of premier streamlines I picked up this week.

            me, Marci & Izzy, had to get out of the house for a little while...

                                                                  so we went out train watching...

Marci does a great job on the photographs, Brian!  Did you buy Izzy a take out ice cream on the way home???  Our DQ and privately owned stand are open for business! 

         we did stop at our favorite hot dog place... but it was closed

                                             I think she was happy just to get out and go for a ride..

Lew, there is and has been one thing that bugged me about this layout.  I am a couple of year older and the cover of the Lionel booklet "How To Operate LIONEL TRAINS and Accessories"  that came with my 1958 Super-O General set had (has) this layout pictured on cover.  Behind the ZW there is a trestle support mounted right on top of the track!

Ron, that trestle bent in the middle of the lower level track has been amusing people ever since the catalog was released. It makes me think of Arnold's "Good Layout Flaw? Huh!" thread. 

Ray, gotta' love that '56 Crown Vic. My first ride was a '56 Merc 4-door sedan with a dinged rear quarter-panel but even it had some of those Crown Vic lines.
