Add Chalk Marks On Big Boy Boiler Front

Hello ORG Forum Big Boy Fans,

Has anyone ever added the “Big Boy” chalk marks to the boiler front of their Lionel (or other) model?

i just acquired the latest 4014 with oil model, and I am considering doing this. What about trying to buy a boiler front from another engine with the marks, or getting mine painted, or … any other idea?

Why? My grandson keeps drawing me pictures of Big Boy with that boiler front … subtle wish list hint.

Circus City makes a set of decals for the 4014 that has the chalk marks. Search the auction sites on UP decals and you will find them.
