Can anyone tell me if the original AF 470 Santa Fe diesel engine had pullmor wheels? I have a 470 and I don't see any signs of pullmor wheels on any of the wheels. The wheels turn just fine under power when on a stand but put it on the track and the wheels (both motors) just spin. Very little movement. But my main question right now is did the original have pullmor wheels. Thank you.

Each power truck should have one Pull-Mor wheel. Even w/o the Pull-Mor a dual motor PA should haul cars around the layout with ease. My 360 PA/PB, link coupler, no Pul-Mor, will haul a string of cars around a layout including up a 3% grade.

How many cars is a "string?"
If they are the aluminum coaches, 4. If plastic passenger cars, 6. My single motor 370 GP7 will pull 7 freight cars on a flat layout until the link coupler uncouples from the coupler bar.
Try cleaning all the wheels with a tooth brush dipped in alcohol while the engine is running.
