So I am fortunate to have my dad’s collection from when he was a kid in the 50s. In it is an American Flyer billboard with whistle #577. I want to use it on my 3 rail layout. I have everything except for the original box. The problem is the instructions given are for 2 rail. Any one hook one of these up on your 3 rail layout? If so, can you tell me how you wired it to the transformer? I don’t intend to hook it up to the track. I just want to have the ability to push the button and hear the whistle.
