Wow - now that is interesting to watch!   Amazing.  They look like O gauge and S gauage end to end, don't they?

The East Broad Top used a timber transfer crane at the Mount Union yard to place narrow gauge trucks under standard gauge cars, slip an adapter on each coupler, and ship the cars to their destinations. That was much faster than transferring the cargo to narrow gauge cars.

Looking at other videos taken there, there are a lot of freight cars that seem to resemble their US counterparts (albeit with considerably fewer paint schemes) but are significantly scaled down, most likely due to the meter-gauge track. I did spot one video that seemed to have European-style side-dump hoppers that seemed a little large next to the usual rolling stock.
