Got the green cars now.....

I recall some discussion about upgrading to 14V (or similar) bulbs in the cars. Can anyone provide a part number for these? I have not been able to find an obvious fit that works for the cars. Of course, I'd like to order the RIGHT part ONCE!

Thanks!

Why, may I ask?

I've got a set of original Postwar FAs from my 1467W set (complete set I have). Don't need two of the same engine sets. Not to mention, the engines don't really appeal to me in green.

I would think many dealers may split the sets.  Many guys just want the cars.  Those engines I feel will be a hot item and getting a split should be easy.  I am a big fan of older looking trains all done up with good (can) motors and electronics package.  I still blame my friend Chris Lonero for getting me into MTH Tinplate.

Lots of posts from Dealers about their sales....

....I've got my credit cards warmed up and want to buy the cars only. Any dealers out there wanting to make some money today and sell me just the cars? Otherwise, I'll continue to put out feelers with my "Postwar guys" for a set of originals.

E-mail Charlie or Chris at Nassau Hobbies.  Often they split sets.

Thanks to Nassau Hobbies for breaking up this set and selling me just the cars. Emailed at least a dozen dealers and only two would do it, Nassau and another dealer (and forum sponsor). Nassau's price came in over $200 cheaper for the three cars and they got the sale over the other dealer.

Thanks guys! if anyone wants just the engines, Nassau has a set!

Glad you could snag the cars.
