We use cookies to store your login information, but that's it. Every site that uses a login and password has to use a cookie to store that info on your computer.

We recently installed a Banner Ad Management program on our web server. That program is tracking the number of impressions and clicks on the banner ads on the forum. The "tracking cookies" you are seeing are cookies that are counting the banner ad performance numbers for us. They are not tracking your visits to this site or any other site, they are just counting impressions and clicks. That's why your spyware program marked them as low threat cookies.

However, we do NOT set any tracking cookies that track your movement around the web. If your spyware program has revealed tracking cookies of that type were set from this forum, I want to know more about that. Can you share the details of those cookies? Don't post those details here. Use the little red flag icon at the upper right to open a dialog with me via the ALERT process. Put the details there.

Lee, if you encountered some bogus links, understand that those links were set by whoever posted them, not us.
