I have two STANDARD GAUGE tenders - new LIONEL/MTH variety - without the PS2 electronics. They've been serviced multiple times for a stuck whistle. Got them back yesterday - same exact issue after a few minutes of play. Tried two (2) different transformers (MTH Z-1000 and LIONEL ZW [modern]), switching the wires out, switching out the lock-ons and even going direct to the track. Wondered if there was a forum member local to Annapolis area where we could put these on the track and power up to see if the problem would be same on a different layout. I can't think of anything else to try. I'm a TCA member - glad to try this on your schedule - very flexible. The local shop I purchased these from does not have a standard gauge layout. Thank you!
