Atlas GP9 dummy problem | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

Years ago I converted a dummy Atlas 2 rail GP9 to 3 RS with TAS for sound lights and coil couplers.

After being un used for years the engine sound just starts running when ever track is powered.

Nothing else works. Doesn't respond to CAB control. Sound won't turn off. Horn sounds once in awhile

on it's own. Won't reprogram.

Any ideas of what the problem is ? I'm thinking the R2 board. I've been away from the hobby for awhile.

My first thought my be a poor antenna reception, however also try swapping out the radio board with a different one

Thanks for the reply Mike. Radio board is as good as anyplace to start.
