Thanks Guys for the info. I contacted Norm,s O scale this morning and I was able to purchase several # 5 turnouts and other items.The only thing I wasn,t able to purchase was the rail joiners.This is my first posting on this Forum.My name is Dale Churchill and I,m a retired Lineman in Victoria B.C. I,ve been in HO for years and I,m now venturing in to O.Planning on building a 2 piece  switching layout 16in. X 144 in.

That's funny, every time I have ordered from him I have gotten a confirmation email back and a short time later shipping info as well.  And on the occasions I have emailed him I have gotten a prompt response.

Chris: Interesting that others have the same problem with JD responding as I do. Funny that I will be cancelling all my orders with him as he is a nonreponsive dealer. I have placed several orders the last two months even ordered directly off his website and he had not responded even after it was paid for the day it was ordered. Glad that you think it's "funny" to provide POOR SERVICE.

Sadly there are other folks who have had great experiences with a dealer and others that haven't with that same dealer.  Sadly it does happen and I have been on both ends of that stick.

Well if you are not happy then you should, it is your money and should be happy with all aspects of the transaction.

That has never happened to me.  After I pay for and submit the order I get an email confirmation within minutes, I take it that wasn't the case with your order(s).  And if that's the case then there is zero excuse for that as all customers should receive the same (great) service no matter the amount of the purchase or the dealer and so on.

Uhhh boy...ok Stephen would you prefer the word "interesting"?  None of us want bad service, I don't want it for me or you or anyone.  Don't take things so literally...it was just an expression and poor service is NEVER ok,all I said was that "I have always gotten emails and order confirmations from him w/o a problem".  I am not speaking for anyone else.

ncng, I really miss Bob, I bought a lot of stuff from him, I like Jeff too,

its harder then most people think to get product often, give Jeff a break.

I did this & my message failed so how much per switch are you asking 7 is this new stock?
