Erik's work is al so realistic some times the only way I can tell it's not is by subject matter, like the cab forward above, or the appearance of Erik or some other out of place object in the photo.

Erik, there are so many things which you have brought together in your photos, to create the realistic appearance of trains in action.  There's the hand laid track; the artificial landscape (which blends perfectly with the actual, distant landscape; the natural light, the fine detail in the models; the staging, including structures, motor vehicles, and train consists; the classic colorizing to mimic what was available during the steam to diesel transition era; the added locomotive exhaust . . . so many different things that you have thought out and prepared.

Your artistry is at the pinnacle of modeling and photography.  We are fortunate that you choose to share it with us.

Great photography and modeling. Gotta love outdoor natural lighting with a natural backdrop.
