Hey there everyone,

Just wanted to pass this along.

A few weeks ago I got a Lionel Vision NS Genset (Love the Engine). Before I purchased all the prices I was seeing was about $650.00.

Yesterday I was in Nassau Hobby and I saw they were selling this engine for $499.99. This is an amazing price for this engine. I figured anyone who was interested but the $650.00 price tag might be a little out of reach or for anyone looking for a great price on a VIision Line engine might be interested.

F.Y.I I have no affiliation whatsoever with Nassau Hobby. They are just one of my LHS's.

Thank you for the info and am glad you are happy with this engine.

One question; did the NS actually have a Genset engine; not a deal breaker for me, just curious.

Thank you.

Seriously? Is this really THAT big an issue? The Horse on the nose of the engine is facing the wrong direction... This is an AMAZING engine, if people really won't buy it due to this then ohh well, their loss.

I suppose it is for some, but for many others it wouldn't really matter all that much. Nevertheless, I suspect that is why those engines are still readily available.

I would suspect the MTH model selling at hundreds less with the big visible nose logo correctly placed probably was a factor.

This isn't just a little ding in the paint or a chipped decal.

It's not just the pony, the white background and stripes angle off in the wrong directions. The entire nose decoration on both ends is backwards. It might as well be missing.

For the price one is paying for a premium locomotive, they have a right to expect the decoration be correct.

Rusty, thank you for your comments. Is this just a decal that can be changed or is it painted on?
