Grain elevator---and a barge

I have made progress on the barn.    Siding is going on and I cut out windows and a door (grandt line items).

The barn is looking good! I would like to see more on the barge. I have to create 2 or 3 barges when my layout progresses to that point. They will be bulk loading rather  than rail barges. 

I found your other post. When reading on a kindle you don't get to see much at once.

I see a photo of a grain elevator, but no barn or barge...what did I miss? (no problem,

though, as I am a fan of grain elevators)  I was thinking about barns and how there are regional differences, as New England barns being attached to or connected to the

house by a passageway due to severe weather,  Amish barns distinctive with symbols,

Kentucky tobacco barns, dairy barns, and others.  I need to look at some ranch barns, if I decide I have room for one.

It is 9"at the base, rising about 2" from the floor.   The barge/carfloat was in the first set of images, it now has graduated to its own topic here:

That's what it looks like to me as well.  And, coming along nicely, too!

I have a scratch built barn as well; will have to post images of it another time!

Appreciate the comments--I will add trim, pipes for the grain, a dump section and some roofing later this week.
