Barry B., will your new book be available next week at York ?

In a post last month, Barry, you said there would be no new DCS Companion Guide revisions but that instead you wrote a new book dedicated solely to DCS WiFi and the WUI which would be available at the time the Premium App was released. Now that the Premium App is finally here, what about this new book? I don't see a reference or link to it on MTH's website. When will it be available for purchase? Can we expect to see it for sale at York or at this coming Wednesday night's DCS Users' dinner meeting? Looking forward to getting a copy.

Thanks for asking!  

The status of The DCS WiFi Companion is as follows:

  • The draft of the book is with MTH's graphics artist for final formatting and layout. This includes all pictures, app screen shots and other images.
  • I won't be reviewing the book again until after the York meet.
  • The first week in May I plan to add a bit of additional information, mostly thanks to the OGR Forum, and send the book to my proofreader and to a DCS expert to two for a tech-check.
  • I'm planning to publish the eBook version before the end of May with the print book becoming available 3-4 weeks later.

I'l be answering questions and discussing the book at the DCS User Group Meeting Wednesday evening and at the MTH booth Thursday and Friday.

For now, here's the best that I can do...
