Went for a drive about 40 miles and gathered some dirt for my industrial sidings where I live is all sand. I knew about this sand pit (Dirt pit!) as I have walked in this area many times and it is used for road base on minor roads so I didn't disturb the environment nice morning up at 400am back by 800am before it gets 
to hot nice drive in the bush. there is the result (left) Roo

Roo, you know it. I've been gathering fine dust and gravel and all kinds of stuff. Jefferson has a magic spot in Nebraska somewhere where he picks up a dirt that is just marvelous.. the above picture is progress and not complete but I love using the real stuff.

Yes you can't beat real dirt I've been using it for years always keep a bucket in the car when I go for a drive outside the city.

When I arrive home with the dirt I never wash it just sieve it into four different sizes. Rocks and debris, small rocks, coarse dirt and finally very fine dirt. Roo.
A bit of Kangaroo urine never hurt anyone the glue seals it!
