I've been assembling some equipment to put together a modern-ish intermodal train.  My inspiration is the BNSF Lindenwood Yard.  That yard is adjacent to I-44 here in St. Louis.  It was a Frisco yard originally.  I drive past it frequently.  There are usually dozens of engines there.  I'm not a fan of the modern orange BNSF paint scheme.  I usually see some old BN and Santa Fe engines there so that's what I'm going with.  Two new MTH engines and some used rolling stock:

MTH BNSF SD40-2 (20-21175-1)

BNSF SD40-2BNSF SD40-2-2

MTH BNSF GP60M (20-20817-1)

BNSF GP60MBNSF GP60M-2

And the only rolling stock I have thus far: MTH BN spine car set (20-95055) and MTH TTX Husky Stack (20-95282

Mike, Great purchases and great photos to show them off.  Those Allied vans/containers look especially sharp with your current containers.

Thanks, there's a helpful intermodal thread here on OGR from 2016 that coincidentally got bumped today.  There is some good information there as far as pointing out the differences between MTH, Lionel, Atlas, and K-Line.  I settled on MTH really because their Premier huskys seem close to (or are?) scale.  Also, it seems like the MTH Premier intermodal stuff can be had cheaper (relative to Lionel and Atlas anyway) on the secondary market.  IOW, good balance of scale size, nice detail, and price.
