CAB-1 What's up?

Everythings hooked up, it ran fine and wound up with a runaway and crashed. Now it won't work. I have no shorts, I reset cab-1, new fresh batteries. I get a steady comm light appling power but the track light won't light, red light on PM flickers at same time. What's the deal? Also are there any decent, down to earth that make sense instruction/troubleshooting guides for this? Using "Z", tpc400,cab-1 in conventional mode. No TMCC here. Thanks

OK, A couple questions here. Where is this written in any instructions, I don't have this information! I did as said and got nothing, I did notice that while doing that that I got little beeps on all except AUX-2. I'm suspecting a problem here! I swapped out the batteries to another cab-1 controller that I want to sell, and did the same thing, BINGO! So now I'm suspecting that either the controller is bad or something else. Opinions? Thanks

Not to call you a liar but none of the books I have has nothing mentioned to that effect. I'll make a note of that in my lame manuals. Thanks again. Kind of a drag cause the old one has a rubber ducky antenna but I did score a new cab-1 on tha bag for dirt compared to what Lionel wants so I guess I have a parts unit now.
