When in the process of picking up a new L Trackmobile, it was a natural for your hand to grab the widest, largest part on the body, because of all the detail on the unit. Unfortunately, the little pressure of grabbing the unit made the side window pop out, (actually pop in). No way to re-position it without taking off the body, which was easy. In that process, the other body window popped out! I had to use super glue(metal body with plastic windows) to reattach the windows. Very tiny things, easy to put back with the glue, but unfortunately, I got a smudge print on one of the windows. My only consolation is that maybe in real life these things get dirty or maybe I'll have a frosted effect in the cab. Nice unit all around, and amazing how all electronics are packed in there.

Whenever I pick up motive power or rolling stock, I always try to do so from underneath the frame when possible.  That way, all the weight/pressure is on that hand and the other hand can be used, if necessary, just to steady the item.  That helps to avoid damage to any delicate details, etc.

My Army Trackmobile arrived a couple of days ago.  No damage or loose parts.  A very cool little unit!
