Wow Scott, that's a lot of Atlas track you're putting together. Is there any special procedure you're using to make sure you're getting a good connection between each piece? I'm not sure what I would do on a large layout like yours.

When I use Atlas track on my meager displays, I've found the Atlas track connectors tend to loosen up after a period of time. With a little investigation I discovered by making the two dimples at the bottom of the connectors a little deeper I still got a good connection between the track even if the connectors loosen up during operation.  It makes it harder to get the track together but is definitely worth avoiding the  aggravation of tracing a bad connection later on.

Looks like a good plan. Hope all goes well for you. Liked the BNSF pictures, that's my chosen road for my layout and I'm also using Atlas track and switches. You are a quite bit further along than I am. Hope your health issues are now under control and you don't have any more any time soon. The best of luck to you with those, and with the layout as well.

AMCDave I am more of a dog person than a cat person But this cat has got to me. I got him when he was a kitten and he was there going through all of my medical problems with me. So he a keeper.  As for the leg I always wear it and I don't cover it up. I wear jeans with the left leg cut off above the knee. I get my good days and I get some very bad days. like today I am outside Painting windows & I think I am done for today.  Boger looks like he can be my cats twin.
