I have the Aurotech book, mainly to be able to get part numbers.  I have been told that the Greenberg book is pretty much the same, but I would lean more toward the Greenberg and two others for $38.  You can never have enough reference books, whether Prewar or Postwar.  I own at least 7 Postwar books, and 5 Prewar, and have to cross reference between them a lot of times.  Take the best bargain.

The Aurotech book is a small format reprint of the manual Lionel put together and sent out to their service stations. It does not include parts lists, nor does it have every revision of every page.

The only Greenberg book with which I am familiar is the same. I don't recall the title, so I cannot say whether that is the book you've mentioned.

You can look at most of the Lionel service manual on line at the Olsen's parts site. Olsen Library.
Olsen's has created some of their own pages to supplement what Lionel provided.

I've checked Olson and it is a treasure to find, thanks. Plus they appear to be located in Cleveland where I live, but I have a hard time with online manuals. I'm pretty much on my own here, one local train shop is gone due to the owner passing away, a second one is struggling since it's owner passed away a couple of years ago. Of course shows have been canceled and there's really no place to turn so navigating these online places is my best hope, thanks, Chuck.
