Try Peco IL-715.  This is a sectional tie strip with molded in Pandrol or similar fittings;  you furnish your own Code 143 rail, or buy theirs.

I've never used it, but it looks nice.  [ In my opinion Peco make the finest Code 143 track and turnouts around ( if you are a modern era -- post 1970, say -- modeller );  pricey, but quality.]

I did use the Old Pullman 3' concrete tie section flex on one portion of my layout.  It was molded in a very white-plastic looking white plastic, with no fastener detail -- much more rudimentary than their usual wood tie stuff.  Since I had to remove the rails anyway to paint them, I 'dipped' the tie sections in a concrete-y 'bath' which helped;  then I had to hand paint the tie plates.  Oh well.

If you get any of the Peco stuff, let us know your experiences, please.

Best rgds, SZ

If you get them please share with us what you get.  I've been looking for concrete ties also.  If you only get 15 segments that's a bit expensive.

I've been thinking about using the old CAD program to draw some up and have Shapeways print them out but I would also want to come up with brass (or some other metal) Panrol clips as spike replacements.
