Conventional classics Santa Fe F-3 "B" unit

You'll have better luck there.

Lionel did not produce Santa Fe B units for the Conventional Classics AAs.  However, other Santa Fe B units could be used with them.

Thanks for responding. I was thinking the non-powered "B" unit 6-24573 would work. What do you think? Note: Ed- I met you at the Medina train show a few years back and purchased a Bachmann trolley from you (Philadelphia Transit Authority markings) and you signed a copy of the June/July 2010 (run 243) magazine.

Hi Lou,

The trouble with that 6-24573 B unit is that it has black trucks which wouldn't be a good match for your 2343 engine with silver trucks. It would be a better match for the postwar 2383 diesels.

A better match for your set would be the 6-18101 B unit that goes with the Lionel 6-11711 A-B-A set.
