Does anyone on the forum know of anyone who does custom decals?  I did a custom paint job on a locomotive and I am  in need for custom decals. I painted a F40 ph to metro north railroad paint scheme and I hit a road block trying to get decals for the unit. They do sell HO scale decals in metro north livery but I don't know how they would look. Can anyone shed some light on this topic for me?  I just need the numbers 4414 printed in a few sizes for the unit and the metro north logo.

My decal guy, Jim Wilhite, and I collaborated on these.  You get four of these with different road numbers, half in white and half in silver, for somewhere around fifteen bucks.  That is enough for the average SP nut to last for years!

We have done PRR Merchandise Service boxcars and Carnation Milk Ice cars, as well as passenger car decals for many roads inngold with black outline.

Jim charges $25 + shipping for the first attempt, and ten bucks plus shipping for subsequent copies.  You can buy copies of my stuff at the lower price.

How do I get in touch with Jim Wilhite? Does he have a website? Thanks.

Decades ago, I had custom O scale decals made by "deRAILcals by After Hours Graphics", in Cincinnati, Ohio.  Luckily, I did a second order soon after the first and am still using

them.  They are great.  I found the name some months ago in the Cincy phone book,

with a different address, but wondered if they were still doing them?  Anybody on here

in Cincy?
