Custom Lionel FA New York Central test run | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

I got my Custom painted and decaled Lionel FA out today and ran it with some new cars I got and one I Custom built from a old menards car that I made into a New York Central Pacemaker. I found a old Revell White 3000 truck with a fruehauf tanker I built about 20 years ago cleaned it up and put it out just to see what it would look like.

Love it great job, are you going to make up a dummy A and/or B unit to provide a matched set of head end power?

Yes been looking for one found a shell needs some work but would like to find a dummy unit all in tack thanks it was a fun build and can't wait to find a dummy unit for the right price.

The K-Line ones are almost the same and the Williams O-27 ones are also. You don't have to stick with just Lionel.

Very nice work! I like the dull finish of the gray it really makes it seem like the vintage old loco that it is.

Thanks the paint I used was Rustolem dark charcoal gray primer it looks almost black with a faded look
