DCS 3.1 to 5.0?

You should absolutely upgrade all of your DCS components to DCS 5.0.  A few reasons:

• All TIUs and remotes must be at the same software level to interoperate correctly. Any new remote or TIu that you acquire will, in all likelihood be at DCS 5.0.
• DCS 3.1 had too many bugs to recall. It also lacked some newer DCS features and functions.
• DCS 5.0 is required to use the DCS App.

Thanks BARRY.  I have an older unit from 2003 with the 3.10 on it.  Can this be upgraded to the 5.0 on line through the MTH site or is it better to purchase a new DCS TUI and remote?  Again thank you for your time.

All MTH remotes and TIUs, regardless of vintage, can be upgraded to 5.0.  You can download the 5.0 Loader program from the MTH web site, along with the 5.0 TIU and remote software.
