You might be describing NO-OX-ID.  These days, it's available on Amazon.  It inhibits corrosion on higher current electrical connections.   It's sort of a brown vaseline-type material.   It seems like overkill for engine to tender connections.  I guess the deeper question is why you feel you need something for that connection?  Having problems?  A bit of rubbing alcohol on a Q-tip seems like a more appropriate maintenance procedure.

As stated above a dielectric grease is non-conductive. No-OX, there are multiple brands, is a conductive corrosion inhibiting grease. I use it on track pins and sliding electrical contacts. It works great. If there is more than one conductor in the MTH connector No-Ox cannot be used, it will create a short circuit between the conductors.
