"OK you “O” scalers….we have been kicking this project around for awhile and for more reasons than I have room to mention here….we have let it languish on the back burner. I now have a serious inquiry in to my premier diesel builder to see what quantities and pricing we can talk about. You will be the first to know….. along with what I think we can offer in the extremely small quantities I am willing to commit to. We are leaning to the RS-3 with and without steam generator and with or without dynamics. Probably going to stick with the “as delivered” versions to keep the communality of parts between the different types to a minimum…..and yes, there will be a choice of ¼ inch or Finescale wheels and trucks. Stay tuned……"

Erik: Since you are working at DP could you post a page so the O scale RS3s so it could easier to find? I sure would appreciate it if you could.

2 RS3s in N&W and 1 NKP RS3.

And I suspect you would be limited to Kadee couplers.

Asking Division Point to make/offer 3 rail brass is like asking 3rd Rail to make/offer P:48 locomotives.   There would be buyers but just how many would be willing to plunk down the costs upfront given the very limited market. 

I'd certainly be in for two PRR versions as well as a 3rd Anthracite roads version such as the Valley or CNJ toothpaste tube.

The Atlas is an F2 and F3 is a Lionel, in the short lightning stripe scheme.
