I posted a response to a topic and now I get emails on that post. I did not mark it as wanting emails, what did I do wrong, or at least what do i need to do to stop them. i did have email notifications listed to recieve those posts I watch due to I have items on the Buy/Sell board. I figure it's a glitch so I unchecked that box.
And since we are on the subject, what is an "Alert"? and what are "clips"?

Go to the thread in question. At the upper right there are a few links. Click on the one that says "Stop Watching This Topic."

I do not remember clicking on that link, it we send a reply, does it automatically assume we want to watch that thread?

Yes, the current default is for notifications to be ON, which is not good. It was checked ON by default when you posted. Just be sure to un-check it in future posts if you do not want email about the thread.
I am in discussions with Hoopla about changing this, because it is not something I can change.
