I was at Charles Ro yesterday and I got a chance to see the new Lionel Ford pick up inspection truck and it looked nice. Now before the "Scale police" jump out of the bushes and make an arrest!
It is "not" a scale model but kind of reminds of the Lionel inspection trucks from the past just meant to be a fun unit where you would actually use your imagination and pretend it was an inspection truck! This looks more like an upscale die cast version and at $149 it makes you feel like your getting a little more for your money then a tiny scale version with a tiny motor.
Anyone have it and what do you think? Is the motor any bigger than the scale inspection truck?
