As I was trying to attach one of my 4 wires that controls that switch,I noticed right under the bolt that tightens down your wire's that there appears to be a kind of tab, that I am assuming, holds down the wires and keeps them in place once you tighten the wires down.I noticed,in one of my 4 slots that I have to put the wires into, that one did not have that.If I am suppose to have that under that bolt, what would be the part number so I can order some?

Thanks

It's strange that it would be missing. That makes the contact to the internal board. Is the nut missing also? 53, 55, 56 and 52 are the terminal assembly. Just order what's missing from Lionel.

If it's a new switch, return it to your dealer or Lionel.

Removing the cover is a pain because the screws are so small and they want to behave like jumping beans and get lost.

Do whichever is most comfortable for you.
