At the end of last week got my turntable Atlas, with the help of my father to adapt the Fastrack, managed to put into operation and I am very happy with the result, of course
lack some adjustments but I always had the dream of having a turntable on my layout.

Nice work! Interesting layout that looks like fun to operate. Do you have any closeup shots of how you got fastrack to work with the Atlas turntable? I am thinking of doing something like that when I start my new layout.

Thank you, this weekend I will take new pictures of how it was with the FASTRACK /Atlas.
Leandro,

That looks great!

Have you run any engines from the turntable on to the tracks around it, or vice versa? How is that transition?

DCS or Legacy - That is a good question, and I suspect you'll get a 50-50 split of opinions. I use DCS and really like it, but that is because I started in O-gauge buying MTH trains.

From what I have read, it appears that DCS is capable of running TMCC or Legacy better than TMCC or Legacy can run DCS, but I am not sure of this. (Someone will let us know soon!)

What do you have the most of now, Lionel or MTH?
Do you have a preference of train brands?
Which are easier to get in Brazil?

Good job, and keep us posted.

Alex, Thanks !

- As I have only the Polar Express it had smooth transition in all
extensions!

- I do not have any engine in the digital system, but I have a tendency to Lionel, now I think the MTH is cheaper!

- If my default DCS and buy a Lionel engine with legacy I can use?

- Here in Brazil have only one store that sells O scale, but it is much used and old so I have to import everything, because now I use the Trainonline to buy!

Leandro...
Leandro, your earlier statement made me curious, what is the tax penelty for buying US supplied product?

Is the import tax penalty equal or are there different penalties for products coming from different countries?

Very nice systematic neat workmanship, Thank you for your progress report. You really know how to effectively use a room! tt

Tom, Thanks !
The import tax for individuals in Brazil is 60% to any product that has a value greater than $ 50.00! and no matter the country of origin!

Tmack, thanks for the tip! I fit a lot of trees on the mountain!

Do you recommend a manufacturer of trees?

Very good progress. Search this forum for treemaking techniques. There may be local plants similar to ours that you could use. Your mountain may easily hold several hundred trees depending on how dense a forest you want. I don't think you can count them in this picture, but there are 40 large trees just on this small mountain.

Good Luck

Your layout looks great. You did very nice work finishing the engine shed, the turntable and the coling station.  And the young engineer in the last picture seems to be having fun too.

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, Alex !

Your progress in his model is fantastic!
