Hello, I have an ERR board that has one thing I can't figure out. The smoke unit only works when the engine is in reverse. Everything else works well. The drive motors as well as all the features. Has anyone ever run into this problem?
I've programmed it using feature code 6. Large motor, 100 speed steps, and cruise setting "on".
This engine is a Trainmaster FM from the MPC era. The 2 motors have been switched from the AC to DC motors from Timko. This has been runniong on my layout for about 8 years in this configuration. I've gone through all the wiring connections.
