Yea, L&N ran through Biloxi for the longest. Fell in love with IC from college rail trips to wife's grandparents in Champagne/Urbana. Went to Ole Miss, caught IC in Batesville. Had to wait for the train inside a pad locked shed in Batesville and hoped the train stopped to let me out and that the train arrived before the shed caught fire as there was no way out. Don't think safety folks would allow that today and hope I'm smarter now not to let myself get padlocked in a shed. Started "collecting" (more like "accumulating") IC and at one time had everything Lionel made in IC. Branched off into GM&O and ICG. Never chased L&N. Been to Foley and Fairhope shows for many years, I see Mobile is having a show in March, would like to make that one if recovered from eye surgery in time. Thanks for responding, hope to meet one day.  Wish I had purchased that GM&O passenger set that Williams produced but let it get away from me. Cant buy everything we want and like everyone else already have more than I can run.

I was just hoping the two bridges (the spans, not the towers of the lift bridge) were close enough in size to not look out of place. But then last night I got to wondering if the pins would even match up, may have to have a spacer between them but then that could impair the esthetics.

It would be an impressive bridge scene. 39" - 26 1/2" - 39"  T - L - T

The end girders on both slope towards the center of the bridge (slight angle on 213 tower, sharper angle on ext. truss). So, if butted on the ends, I think it would look cool.

To my eye, looking at the product photos, the height of the center of the extended truss looks taller than the truss that is lifted.   The towers would break up the line.

EDIT: You don't really need the end pins on either. Track feeds to each bridge or you can pull the FasTrack pins and drill it to accept O pins.
