Very nice video.

I do have an attraction to some European locomotives, including the Crocodiles.  IT is one of those electric locomotives that is instantly recognizable, like the Pennsy GG1, the NYC S-1, and the Milwaukee "Bipolar" and "Little Joe."

The light at the end of the tunnel is the headlight of an on coming train!

Stunning video and images.

There was an MTH Swiss Crocodile that was running at the club in two of my videos that I'm having trouble uploading.  Hopefully will get that problem solved tonight.

Fantastic!  Thanks so much Fred for the beautiful clip. What beautiful beasts they are.  Had two LGB models years ago - the brown and the green. Never ran them, just for display.  Would love to have the MTH model someday...

In fact, I have a New in the boxes Lionel EL F3 set (ABBA) with the powered B unit that I would possibly trade for a MTH Croc if anyone's interested.

Everything looks so neat and clean and with as quiet as it is it looks like a model railroad video. Awesome video of a great looking train. Thanks for posting.

The Europeans and Brits take more pride in their railways than we do here.  I've ridden trains in Europe and I must say they have a better system, overall than we have.  Their railroads were built into an already existing society.  They fit into the surrounding landscape with much less disruption than ours do.

All well and good, except most of Europe will fit within the state of Texas. Railroads in the U.S. and Canada have to handle MUCH heavier freight trains, over much, MUCH greater distances.

The Swiss railways are the most efficient and green as the electricity is almost all hydroelectric power. Clean and well maintained trains and on-time performance. Awesome tunnels and viaducts through stunning Alpine scenary are hard to beat. The German, French and Italian railways are also well run with high speed electric passenger trains that are also on time and well maintained.
