Frankenstein and tinplate | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

I was watching "Son of Frankenstein" on TCM the other night and there was a scene where Dr Frankenstein's (Jr) young son was playing in his room. There was a circle of Standard gauge track with an electric locomotive and a boxcar. I couldn't identify the make of the engine, but maybe Lionel? Wonder if the monster snuck in there and played with it.

I remember that scene - great movie.

I bet his father put it together himself with the pilot from a Marklin, the wheels from a Lionel, the bell from a Bing, headlight from a Hornby......
