Some of you may be familiar with Arcadia Publishing's series of paperback books. They're handy to have and enjoyable to read. Most of the series covers geographic locations with plenty of photos and good narratives.

Railroads of Philadelphia is just one I own. Others include Trolleys andStreetcars of Philadelphia, Montgomery County Trolleys and Streetcars, as well as books about Fort Washington, where I live and others of local interest. I am attaching a cover and table of contents photos here that might make your search a bit simpler.

Thanks Dan for the heads up on Arcadia Publishing. I checked their website and what a treasure trove of historical rail info and so many I want.
