I wanted to acknowledge on the forum of the great Customer Service I had this morning from lionel! I sent an email mid Sunday figured it would be a few days before getting a response from them.

well at 7am Phoenix,az time I received a call from lionel in regards to a smoke issue with my 765 steam engine apparently rich got steamed over the words lashup months ago and stopped working LOL.

they had repaired it back on 1-11-2013  it had failed prior and had such a bad electronic smell as the regulator had failed and trust me it stunk big time so after returning to me repaired in February I set it in my outside shed until this past Sunday to air out.

all smell wise is good but no smoke output hence the email to customer service. the customer service representative walked me through a few button pushes and it is now smoking as it should.

now never in all my years dealing with any manufacturer in the USA have I ever received a phone call to help out with a 6 month old repair much less less than 24hrs after sending an email asking for help.

 

I just wanted to share this and let all here and lionel folks that surf this forum that I want to Thank Mike Reagan And The Entire Lionel Customer Service for all the help and instant response this is what I Call USA Customer Service.
